We know profit, people, and purpose can go hand in hand.

We used to work in the big agencies. You know the ones — the big egos, conference tables, all-nighters.

We know how to make beautiful and impactful things. In fact, we’re great at it. But, we want to create alongside people who share our vision of the future:

Where trees breathe. Where snow falls. Where love lives.

So… We chose to forge a different path. We chose to leave a different legacy.

We started Fernweh.

Lisa speaks the language of visual magic. She can make entire worlds out of barely spoken dreams.

Lisa has impeccable taste. She is kind but can also make tough decisions.

Fernweh is her favorite word. It evokes a longing for far-off places, the kind that sets you off on adventure.

Timothy Hennessy

partner, cinematographer & photographer

Heightened naturalism; unexpected composition; cinematic flair… this is Tim.

After film school, Tim worked his way up the ranks of major production sets , from a film loader to a cinematographer.  It was important to him to master each role and task from the ground up – A testimony to his dedication, work ethic, and commitment. No matter the situation, his calm composure and good-natured attitude make for a relaxed and joyful set. 

He likes to wander.
